Cracking little find, myself and 3 others booked a family room to stay the night after seeing Ocean Colour Scene. Staff were lovely and gave us a welcome drink. Nice chilled live acoustic music in the bar area and food was lovely. Pleasant staff, lovely lady at the front desk when we arrived (with the baby bump). Thank you

After being let down by a nearby hotel we booked last minute with Selina hotel. The manager could not have been more helpful if she tried, upgraded us and let us check in early as we had a wedding to attend that day. I put 5 stars but would happily given them 8 stars, staff were excellent room was spotless and very comfortable, restaurant was fab and food was delicious. I would recommend staying there. Thanks for a great stay

Perfect place to stay in. The lady on reception is so humble and welcoming. She updated my room on last moment. The location is excellent. Room and toilet is clean and upto the mark. Sitting area is amazing on the reception. My overall experience has been very positive. Highly recommended

Lovely room overlooking the sea and friendly staff. This little gem is located within easy walk of the beach and town centre is perfectly located for a trip to Margate. The pricing algorithm is a little odd, don't take the breakfast inclusive rate as it's much cheaper just to buy the breakfast in the hotel if you want one, or visit other local places, there are tons of them. I'd definitely go back with my dogs who were made very welcome by Claire and Mariya, the lovely hotel reception staff who couldn't do enough for us to make our stay comfortable..

Perfect stay in the 6-bed dorm. Homely, clean, comfortable room. Cowork space is a dream with their own soundproof meeting rooms and call booth. Special shout out to the amazingly kind receptionists who made me feel so welcome. Will come back.

Firstly it's in Cliftonville not margate so you are away from the crowds and grime, Cliftonville is much cleaner, quieter and greener. It's approx a 25 minute walk along the sea front from margate Station. The beautiful botany bay is a very short walk away along the coast and i slmost had the whole beach to myself on a very hot day..... The place its self exceeded my expectations, the communal areas are super cool, clean and really well decorated. There is a huge garden and vast amounts of seating and workspaces. There is a cool bar and food area with a small but tasty menu. As far as rooms, I was in a standard double that had a bathroom bigger than the small double. The bathroom had a bath AND a walk in shower, a heated towel rack and toiletries. The room was really pleasant and again the decor was superb. It was clean and the bed was comfy. It had both, air conditioning and a plug in fan. However no television (not a problem for me) also though, no kettle which stopped me giving five stars as I love to wake to a coffee and a cup of tea of an evening whilst reading.... I did once purchase a cappuc8no down stairs but it was almost 4 quid and took me 20 mins to find a spare staff member to make it. Other than that I LOVED it, the staff were super friendly, the beach is super close and the area is great for dog walks. Also the private rooms here (not the dorms) are dog friendly which is a MUST for me. The day you arrive you are invited for a free welcome drink which is a nice touch, and there are free group walks in the mornings should you fancy it

The hotel was great. Easy ocean front location, short walk from cafes and supermarkets. Staff are lovely and helpful. There is a cafe and outdoor area and every is Reasonable priced. The only couple of things worth noting: depending on your room (ours sea view) and the time of year, the sun can rise very very early and our window had large gaps between curtains so we were flooded with light at 5am. And there are a pose of pigeons set up on some of the windowsills, so that can be a bother if you want to open the windows up a bit. Also, the shower ran a little low/ intermittent pressure and temperature but that might just be dependent on capacity and time of year. Just some things to keep in mind when booking :)

My friend and I chose this place to stay whilst on a cycle trip through the town. The staff were super helpful, they helped me find a room to have a confidential phone call in, and they accommodated our bikes. They also enabled us to eat fish and chips in shared spaces. The team are quick to respond to queries online and couldn't have been more helpful. The atmosphere is chill, hip, stylish, and clean. The main restaurant was not open due to a refurbishment, so we went elsewhere for food. I'd recommend a stay here. The only thing that wasn't ideal was the temperature in the shower which sort of ran slightly hot and cold, not in a way that was unpleasant but it wasn't ideal.
